Job Summary: We are seeking an agile and committed mechanical draftsman/designer to work on reading and detailing engineering drawings, process analysis, and material takeoff. Key Highlights: 1. Working with reading and detailing mechanical engineering drawings 2. Analyzing manufacturing processes and sheet metal utilization 3. Requires agility, commitment, and organization * ### **Job Description** The candidate must be agile, committed, organized, and willing to learn. Responsibilities in this role: + Reading technical drawings; + Analyzing projects and processes; + Conducting analysis of fabrication processes for boilerworks, machining, and casting parts; + Detailing engineering projects and preparing production drawings; + Material and resource takeoff; + Optimizing sheet metal usage in AutoCAD 2D; Education: Applicants must be currently enrolled in or have completed a bachelor’s or technical degree in industrial mechanics, mechanical manufacturing, mechanical design, or related fields. Specific Knowledge: + Mechanical technical drawing; + Drafting software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks); + Basic knowledge of materials.
