




**Position:** Electrical Technician **Working Hours:** 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM – 12-hour shifts with 36-hour rest periods **Requirements:** Completion of high school is mandatory; a technical course in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields is also mandatory. Professional certification and registration with the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy (CREA) are preferred qualifications. **Work Experience:** Minimum of two years’ prior experience as an electrical technician is desirable, preferably in hospital or similar environments. **Technical Competencies:** Knowledge of electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems; ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals; familiarity with electrical and electronic testing tools and equipment. **Behavioral Competencies:** Manual and physical dexterity to perform detailed and sometimes physically demanding tasks; ability to solve problems and make rapid, accurate decisions; attention to detail and commitment to work quality; proactivity and initiative; responsibility and commitment to schedules and tasks; ability to work independently and collaboratively; sensitivity to working in a healthcare environment, respecting patient privacy and well-being. **Key Responsibilities:** Install, inspect, and maintain electrical and electronic systems. Assist in developing maintenance schedules by inspecting equipment and determining the type and frequency of maintenance activities, as well as collecting maintenance control data and coordinating with immediate supervisors for replacement parts and materials. Repair machines, equipment, and control panels of medium complexity, following electrical schematics. Perform calibration and verification of medical instruments, meters, and transmitters according to engineering and process specifications. Adjust and calibrate electrical power and protection equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and set-point adjustments for meters, transmitters, and control valves in accordance with individual equipment specifications and process parameters. Conduct equipment inspections to assess and diagnose operational status and condition, in line with the preventive maintenance program. Carry out scheduled equipment maintenance per the preventive maintenance program and/or perform corrective maintenance as needed. Periodically clean and lubricate maintenance tools and equipment. Install medium-complexity machines and equipment, verifying materials and components and checking installation conditions, as well as evaluating operational readiness. Read and interpret drawings, single-line diagrams, and functional diagrams to locate equipment defects and failures. Provide technical support to electricians and assume responsibility for maintaining and updating previously established standards. Ensure workplace cleanliness and organization, and maintain tools and equipment in good order—clean and organized for reuse when required—complying with applicable standards and procedures. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all occupational safety regulations, ensuring that all electrical and electronic work complies with safety regulations and hospital policies. Ensure safe usage and proper storage of all equipment and materials, following safety and hygiene protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a healthy environment, and dispose of waste in an environmentally responsible manner. Comply with internal regulations, health, hygiene, and occupational safety standards specific to the department, as well as compliance requirements, observations, and company-related regulatory obligations. **Minimum Educational Qualification:** Technical Diploma
