Job Description: We are seeking a Head of Artificial Intelligence to lead the strategy, research, and application of AI across our products, with a focus on security, identity verification, and video-based interaction automation. This role will bridge business vision, data science, and technology—transforming AI into tangible impact, whether by enhancing fraud prevention, optimizing user experience, or boosting the operational efficiency of our platform. Head of Artificial Intelligence Key Responsibilities: * Define and lead Nuvidio’s AI strategy, aligned with product, technology, and business vision. * Develop and implement machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision models for facial authentication, behavioral biometrics, and anomaly detection in video. * Drive AI integration into Nuvidio’s core products, increasing automation, accuracy, and reliability. * Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Information Security, and Data teams to ensure AI solutions are secure, ethical, and scalable. * Lead the formation of a multidisciplinary AI team—including data scientists, machine learning engineers, and generative AI specialists. * Oversee R&D projects, university and technology company partnerships, and foster a data-driven innovation culture. * Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and LGPD regulations, embedding responsible AI principles across all initiatives. * Measure and communicate AI’s impact on business KPIs and platform performance. What We Expect From You * Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields. * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Technology Management (preferred). * Proven experience in technical and strategic leadership of AI projects—ideally within SaaS companies, fintechs, ID Techs, or anti-fraud organizations. * Proficiency with AI tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI API, LLMs, etc.). * Strong knowledge of computer vision, NLP, biometrics, and predictive analytics. * Ability to translate technical complexity into business decisions and measurable outcomes. * Visionary and collaborative mindset, with strong orientation toward innovation and value delivery.
