




Job Summary: The Production Operator II ensures product production, safety, and quality by monitoring equipment and reporting field failures. Key Highlights: 1. Compliance with operational procedures and EHS and Food Safety standards. **Job Purpose and Impact** -------------------------- The Production Operator II will work in the field responsibly and safely to ensure product production, safety, and quality, as well as equipment integrity and proper operation within the plant, by monitoring equipment physical conditions, identifying potential failures in motors, valves, piping, and other components in the field, and keeping the immediate supervisor and/or shift responsible continuously informed for appropriate actions as required. **Key Accountabilities** ------------------------ * Comply with operational procedures, regulatory standards (e.g., NR13, NR35, etc.), EHS Good Practices, Food Safety, and other internal standards and those established by competent regulatory authorities, implementing process registration and control principles, identification and handling of critical points, to contribute to cost reduction and improved efficiency of equipment and manufacturing processes; * Maintain cleanliness and organization of operational areas and equipment per the plant’s 5S program, and report any adverse situations such as lack of lighting, floor unevenness, or unguarded equipment; * Ensure execution of the process analysis and monitoring plan by tracking process parameters to guarantee maximum system efficiency; * Perform receipt of raw materials, movement and loading of finished and semi-finished products, ensuring no cross-contamination among them; * Conduct low-complexity mechanical repairs if trained/qualified (e.g., opening/closing heat exchangers, filters, and other equipment); * Record all operational deviations in the system and visible management boards, including actions taken, time, resources used, interventions performed, pending items, schedule adherence, etc., for operational history and company technical records. **Qualifications** ------------------ ### **Minimum** * High school diploma or equivalent * Availability to work third shift (11:30 PM\-7:50 AM\) ### **Preferred** * Technical education in fields related to the role * Prior experience in a manufacturing environment At Cargill, every person matters.
