




Description: * Provide patient care. Accompany patients when transferring departments. Escort patients for examinations. Direct patients to the correct department. Collect all waste from used materials. Change patient clothing. Provide telephone and in-person assistance. Dispose of indwelling urinary catheters. Set up enteral feeding pumps for patients fed through tubes. Assist in various department activities. * Report patient status to the next shift. Perform electrocardiogram exams when necessary. Safeguard tools, equipment, and work materials, maintaining the workplace in excellent order, cleanliness, and condition. Perform other related duties as required by company needs or at the immediate supervisor's discretion. Work in compliance with occupational safety and health regulations. Prepare patients for consultations and exams; * Carry out and record exams according to medical or nursing instructions; Guide and assist patients, providing information on hygiene, diet, medication use, and specific healthcare treatment care; Check vital signs and general patient conditions according to medical and nursing prescriptions; Collect or assist patients in collecting laboratory test samples as instructed; Follow hospital infection prevention and control measures; * Perform daily monitoring of materials used; Carry out medical and nursing care prescriptions; Provide post-mortem body care; Record department activities, actions, events involving patients, and other data for reporting and statistical purposes; Perform cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of materials and equipment, as well as their preparation, storage, and distribution; * Perform duties relevant to the area of operation using computer equipment and software programs; Execute other tasks for the development of departmental activities inherent to the role; Prepare patients for surgeries, exams, and other treatments; Observe, recognize, and describe signs and symptoms within the scope of their qualification; Carry out specifically prescribed or routine treatments, as well as other nursing activities such as: Administering oral and parenteral medications; * Perform fluid balance monitoring; Perform wound dressings; Administer oxygen therapy, nebulization, enemas, edema, heat or cold applications; Monitor patients and contacts in contagious diseases; Collect materials for laboratory tests; Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care; Circulate in the operating room. Perform disinfection and sterilization activities; Provide hygiene and comfort care to patients and ensure their safety; * Assist with oral feeding; Maintain cleanliness and organization of materials, equipment, and healthcare unit facilities; Integrate into the multidisciplinary team; Participate in health education activities; Observe, recognize, and describe signs and symptoms within the scope of their qualification; Collect materials for laboratory testing; Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care; Administer or assist with patient feeding; Participate in post-mortem procedures; Document patient care and observations in the medical record with signature and stamp containing all professional details: full name, Coren number, and category, in accordance with COFEN resolution 0545/2017. * Requirements: * Nursing Assistant course; * Experience in the field or similar activities; * Active registration with Coren.
