Focus on hygiene, organization, and food quality. **Job Description:** ---------------------- Prepare hospital meals and diets according to the daily menu, performing pre-preparation, cooking, seasoning, and final presentation of foods, ensuring quality, quantity, and presentation. Guide and supervise kitchen assistants in activities related to sanitation, cutting, preparation, and safe handling of food. Maintain kitchen hygiene, organization, and equipment maintenance, including utensils and furniture, using appropriate PPE and cleaning products. Request supplies, properly store food, and label it with date and expiration. Verify ingredient quality, record quality control checks, and collect samples as per sanitary regulations. Serve meals and beverages to patients, companions, and staff, ensuring excellent service.
