IT Manager

Responsible for strategic technology planning, IT operations management, and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology services that support business objectives. This role encompasses both management of critical IT operations and execution of strategic projects, including implementation of new business units (e.g., e-commerce), store systems, and ERP/Finance integrations. The IT Manager will also play a central role in ensuring information security and compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Plan, implement, and manage IT infrastructure (networks, servers, telecommunications, cloud, and cybersecurity). * Serve as the focal point for retail-related technology projects. * Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including Property Management Systems (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, customer Wi-Fi, telecommunications, and back-office systems. * Support business areas in digital transformation by recommending new solutions and technologies that enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience. * Monitor risks, conduct vulnerability testing, and oversee business continuity and disaster recovery plans. * Ensure networks and data are protected against cyber threats by implementing robust security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and regular audits. * Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and SLAs, and ensuring adequate support for software, hardware, and network services. * Lead and manage IT projects or serve as the IT focal point for business-related projects, facilitating information flow or bridging communication with specific IT functions—including system upgrades, implementation and configuration of new systems, infrastructure procurement, and technology rollouts. * Recruit, train, and supervise the IT team, ensuring staff possess the competencies required to meet the organization’s technological needs. * Ensure technology enhances customer experience by delivering integrated services such as high-speed internet. * Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring economically viable solutions and efficient resource allocation. * Stay current on retail technology trends and recommend innovations that improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. * Communicate with other departments to ensure integrated and efficient operations. * Keep leadership informed about the status and progress of IT initiatives. * Regularly attend country leadership meetings. * Provide technical support to employees and organize training to ensure effective use of IT systems and tools. * Resolve IT issues as they arise. 3.
