Practical experience valued; a university degree is not mandatory The Bendito Pastel seeks an Operational Manager to work directly in the pastry shop’s day-to-day operations, focusing on operational organization, routine control, team management, and basic performance metrics. This position is intended for professionals who enjoy working on the shop floor, routine tasks, responsibility, and a growth model based on merit and results. RESPONSIBILITIES * Monitor the pastry shop’s daily operations * Organize and oversee staff scheduling and shifts * Ensure operational standards, customer service quality, and routine consistency * Track daily revenue and record basic information * Monitor ingredient consumption and purchasing routines * Resolve daily operational issues * Report results and incidents clearly and concisely * Suggest improvements after gaining thorough understanding of existing operations IMPORTANT: THIS POSITION IS NOT * An administrative office role * A purely strategic role * A role for those who dislike routine * A role for “revolutionizing” the business immediately upon joining The initial focus is on organizing, standardizing, and improving overall business functionality. DESIRED PROFILE * Experience in retail, food service, snack bars, bakeries, or pastry shops * Experience managing teams and working rotating shifts * Practical, organized, and responsible mindset * Strong communication skills and professional demeanor * Interest in growing through performance and results A university degree is not mandatory. Practical experience will be the primary selection criterion. COMPENSATION AND GROWTH Compensation consists of a fixed salary plus variable pay.
