Do you want to be part of something truly great while learning extensively, within an environment grounded in ethics, commitment, appreciation, and respect for people? **Then \#JoinEconomart!** **Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:** --------------------------------- * Overseeing perishables department operations * Ensuring proper stock replenishment, accurate pricing, and appropriate product display * Monitoring expiration dates, product quality, hygiene, and food preservation in compliance with sanitary regulations * Managing personnel: scheduling, providing feedback, performance monitoring, and training * Supervising the operational team within the department, guiding and assigning daily tasks * Conducting inventories and controlling losses and spoilage of perishable items * Supporting promotional activities and commercial campaigns * Ensuring organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards in production and display areas **Therefore, we require that you have:** ----------------------------------------- * Experience in wholesale, retail, or wholesale-retail (atacarejo) chains * Prior experience managing or leading perishables departments * Knowledge of food handling and preservation * Familiarity with inventory control and stock management * Understanding of good sanitary practices and health surveillance regulations * Availability to work on-site, including weekends **Work Schedule:** ------------------------ Rotating 6x1 schedule (one day off per week plus two Sundays per month) **What You’ll Find at Economart:** ------------------------------------------ * Market-competitive salary; * Transportation allowance or fuel voucher * Breakfast and afternoon coffee * Hazard pay * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * SESC membership benefits * University partnerships: discounts of up to 80% at select institutions * Celebrations for festive occasions such as Carnival, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Women’s Day, Children’s Day, Halloween, Christmas, etc. * Opportunity for professional growth.
