Opportunity to assist in final inspection and technological improvements **MECHANICAL QUALITY TECHNICIAN POSITION** **Location:** Pedro Leopoldo \- MG **Responsibilities:** * Perform inspection activities: dimensional control, supervision of non-destructive testing, visual inspection, completion of inspection forms and descriptive service memoranda, aiming to provide technical information for preparing technical proposals and cost estimation for equipment refurbishment; * Conduct visual inspection of components of the equipment to be refurbished, based on the technical list provided by the client or engineering, aiming to identify visible wear, fractures, and cracks, as well as select components that have undergone dimensional control and non-destructive testing; * Supervise non-destructive testing on components of the equipment to be refurbished, evaluating tests, reports, and results provided by the inspector, aiming to detect cracks and discontinuities, as well as select components to undergo dimensional control; \- Perform dimensional control on components of the equipment to be refurbished using rulers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and three-dimensional inspection arms, aiming to verify whether measurements conform to the design; * Complete the inspection form for the equipment to be refurbished, evaluating and interpreting results from visual inspection, non-destructive testing, and dimensional control, aiming to determine whether a component will be reused, repaired, or replaced; * Prepare a descriptive service memorandum for the recovery work to be performed during equipment refurbishment, based on information collected during inspection, aiming to describe how component recovery should be carried out; * Participate in defining the refurbishment scope with the client through internal meetings, on-site technical visits, and videoconferences, aiming to gather all client requirements regarding refurbishment to conduct inspection; * Conduct external pre-inspection visits to client equipment, using manuals or technical lists, aiming to provide technical information for preparing technical proposals and cost estimation; * Assist in final inspection of equipment refurbishment, performing visual inspection and verifying the technical proposal, aiming to ensure the final quality of equipment refurbishment; * Assist in gathering information for developing part and equipment drawings, using measuring instruments and catalogs, aiming to manufacture parts and implement technological improvements to equipment. **Requirements:** * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering; * Experience in equipment assembly, oxy-fuel torch operation, and welding machine operation; * Knowledge of technical drawing reading and interpretation; * Knowledge of metrology; * Familiarity with quality tools; * Basic SAP knowledge is desirable. **Working Hours:** Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM\. **Salary:** To be negotiated. **Benefits:** Medical Assistance, Dental Assistance, Life Insurance, On-site Meals, Bonus Program, Commuter Transportation, Attendance-linked Food Allowance (R$ 325.00\).
