Handle hooks, slings, and lifting devices according to required standards. Inspect the overhead crane before use, checking brakes, controls, and safety devices. Maintain and ensure proper use of equipment. Assist in loading and unloading trucks and organizing inventory of parts or raw materials. Comply with occupational safety regulations, signage, and cargo handling procedures. Immediately report any malfunction, wear, or unsafe condition to supervision. Previous experience as a Crane Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator, Machinery Operator, or Loading/Unloading Operator may indicate suitability for some activities of this position.
