Job Mission: * Responsible for assisting in sampling tasks, paying attention to compliance with Environmental Laboratory procedures, as well as contributing with other team members to meet deadlines, preserve equipment, and prepare collection materials. Job Responsibilities: * Assist Sampling Technicians in carrying out collections and direct measurements requiring more complex procedures such as soil and groundwater, acting in accordance with applicable methodologies and standards. * Carry out, under supervision, sample collections requiring less complex procedures, such as drinking and surface water. * Assist in the sample packaging process, performing activities according to internal procedures and immediate supervisor's guidance. * Assist in preparing materials to be sampled, including labeling, packaging materials, among others. * Travel to perform services and account for trips made, presenting and requesting immediate supervisor's validation of invoices, receipts, and coupons. * Complete Chain of Custody forms (physical or digital) and provide them to the Environmental Laboratory. * Follow the sampling schedule to guide activities to be performed the following day. * Drive vehicles for sampling activities. * Ensure proper care of equipment used in sampling, performing preventive maintenance and guaranteeing their operation (vehicles, pneumatic pump and control panel, pH meter, and others). * Comply with and enforce the Code of Ethics, ensuring adherence to clauses regarding ethical duties common to all employees. * Report to immediate leadership matters related to their area of work, presenting and discussing problems and irregularities, proposing solutions to support defining procedures and actions to be adopted. * Perform activities according to operational procedures and stay updated on area procedures and processes, aiming for continuous improvement. * Guide new employees on tasks specific to the area, accompanying them and facilitating knowledge about equipment. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace, equipment, and materials to ensure good usage conditions and preserve occupational health and environmental aspects, as well as safeguard company assets, requesting maintenance, repair, and/or replacement whenever necessary. * Participate in training sessions when summoned, dedicating effort to achieve desired work performance. * Perform related tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor. Education: * Elementary school; * High school desirable. Experience: * 6 months of experience driving vehicles. Skills: * Class B driver's license (at least 2 years issued); * Proficiency with mobile phone applications; * Desirable basic knowledge of liquid and solid sample collection.
