Job Summary: Responsible for operating and maintaining boiler equipment, controlling water levels, pressures, and temperatures, as well as performing boiler water cleaning and treatment. Performing boiler water cleaning and treatment \- COMMERCIAL HOURS \- NR13 CERTIFICATION REQUIRED \- BOILER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED **RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1\. Operate boiler equipment, checking water level, temperature, pressure, and biomass feed to the boiler; 2\. Monitor water level, temperature, pressure, bottom blowdown, wood chip level on the grate, and record all information in the operation log; 3\. Maintain boiler operation to produce the steam required for the process; 4\. Clean boiler ash pits and the boiler area; 5\. Clean the gas washer; 6\. Perform tube steaming in the boiler; 7\. Conduct boiler water treatment; 8\. Supply wood chips to the surge silo; 9\. Observe safety, property, personnel, equipment, and utility regulations; 10\. Perform other related tasks as requested.
