Job Description \-You will be responsible for ensuring that processes, equipment, and operational practices comply with global Technical Standards and national regulatory requirements. You will act as the guardian of technical governance, promoting integration across critical functions (engineering, maintenance, operations, SSMA, and projects), anticipating risks, and driving continuous improvement to ensure operational reliability, safety, and efficiency. **Key responsibilities include:** * Develop, review, and maintain up-to-date technical standards, ensuring consistent application across operations and projects. * Assess supplier and contractor compliance with technical standards. * Participate in project conception and technical analysis, validating specifications and conformity with global standards. * Support technical feasibility studies and impact assessments for new projects. * Plan and conduct internal and external audits, preparing reports and leading corrective action plans. * Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits. * Design technical training and refresher programs, developing instructional materials and facilitating workshops. * Conduct risk analyses for process changes, new equipment, or structural modifications using methodologies such as FMEA and HAZOP. * Propose preventive and mitigating solutions for identified technical risks. * Serve as the focal point between the site and corporate functions, ensuring alignment and updates to Technical Standards. **Qualifications \-The profile we seek for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Mining, or related fields). * Active registration with CREA (Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy). * Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Safety, Project Management, Process Safety, Reliability Engineering, or related areas.
