Job Description You will be responsible for contributing to activities related to the development and implementation of occupational health and safety policies; conducting audits, monitoring, and evaluating this area; supporting the development of educational initiatives in occupational health and safety; participating in the adoption of technologies and work processes; investigating, analyzing accidents, and recommending preventive and control measures. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze medium-complexity incidents and monitor incident action plans; * Provide technical support for developing and implementing medium-complexity incident action plans through scope analysis; * Develop, deliver, and monitor technical and orientation training in occupational health and safety (OHS) and provide technical support for developing/ planning inspections; * Participate in planning maintenance and high-complexity operational activities to assist in risk identification; * Control / monitor action plans developed to meet other applicable occupational health and safety requirements (collective bargaining agreements, TACs, commitments); * Evaluate implemented control measures (collective, individual, and administrative) related to hazardous and unhealthy working conditions; * Consolidate legal compliance results from operational areas, assess applicability of received legislation, and distribute applicable regulations to responsible areas; * Draft Technical Procurement Specifications focused on OHS, considering participation in technical procurement visits and technical proposals; * Clarify procurement-related questions and provide procurement team with performance evaluation results — supporting vendor list composition. * Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections. * Promote and coordinate continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing and/or eliminating occupational risks, in collaboration with support areas, through technical process analysis, identification of mitigation opportunities, and tracking implementation of proposed solutions; * Promote Safety Campaigns with support areas; Qualifications **Profile we seek for this position:** * Technical education in Occupational Safety. * Active CRT or CFT registration * Driver’s License – Category B with minimum 2 years’ experience * Intermediate Office Suite proficiency (Desirable) * Basic English (Desirable) Additional Information **Why join our team?** We are a company committed to making our beliefs and values truly happen.
