Job Description
You will be responsible for performing low-complexity preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities on machines and equipment, in accordance with maintenance schedules and requests.
**Key responsibilities below:**
* Conduct inspections (failure identification) on equipment to determine required materials, tools, and maintenance services, aiming to extend the service life of machines and equipment.
* Respond to preventive and corrective maintenance demands by assessing wear on mechanical parts and components, replacing or repairing them, and identifying root causes of defects.
* Perform maintenance on machines and equipment—disassembling, inspecting, repairing defects, replacing damaged parts, and conducting tests—under supervision.
* Complete the Maintenance Order (MO) with information about the work performed.
* Collect oil from surface station equipment.
* Maintain mobile mining equipment.
* Conduct tests and minor maneuvers on surface mobile equipment; operate maintenance support equipment and vehicles, when qualified and authorized.
* Apply 5S principles to all activities performed.
* Comply with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental policies.
Qualifications
**The profile we seek for this position:**
* Completed high school education
* Technical course in Mechanics or related fields (Desirable)
* Qualification courses
* Driver’s License Class D (Desirable)
* Basic Office software package
* Availability to work rotating shifts.
* Residence in Conceição do Mato Dentro/MG, Serro/MG, Congonhas do Norte/MG, Dom Joaquim/MG, or Alvorada de Minas/MG.
