Job Description \-As Maintenance Coordinator – Mine Equipment, you will be responsible for coordinating preventive/corrective mechanical, electrical, and lubrication maintenance activities for the transport fleet; proposing and implementing improvements to the fleet and mine equipment; ensuring adherence to maintenance guidelines/strategy; evaluating fleet and equipment reliability and performance against loss profiles; and enforcing maintenance planning. **Key responsibilities include:** * Coordinate preventive/corrective mechanical, electrical, and lubrication maintenance activities for fleets and equipment; propose and implement improvements to mine fleets and equipment; and ensure compliance with maintenance guidelines/strategy. * Evaluate fleet and equipment reliability and performance against loss profiles; enforce planning; monitor management contracts to drive improvements, reduce costs, and enhance reliability and safety. * Monitor management’s financial performance to ensure physical availability and reliability of equipment maintenance, thereby supporting production within scheduled quality, timelines, safety, environmental, and cost requirements. * Participate in planning and coordinate execution of maintenance activities within your area of responsibility. * Execute activities focusing on minimizing material and service costs, providing information and inputs to support budgetary management. * Monitor mine fleet maintenance scheduling to ensure full operation of the production area. * Participate in planning and coordinate execution of maintenance activities within your area of responsibility, defining priority maintenance deliverables. * Monitor and propose improvements to equipment maintenance processes, including proposing enhancements or developing new maintenance plans to increase equipment and process reliability. * Track equipment failure and availability indicators. * Propose and implement improvements using problem analysis and resolution methodologies, as well as implementing the 5S program. * Manage people to optimize their performance and efficiency, ensuring they work in a healthy environment that safeguards their physical and mental health. * Ensure compliance with applicable corporate standards and programs; * Coordinate teams—including timekeeping, feedback meetings, salary promotion/movement analysis, and other management activities; * Comply with Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, Social Responsibility, and Business Integrity policies and procedures. **Qualifications \-The profile we seek for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields. * Active CREA registration. * Postgraduate qualification in related areas is desirable. **Additional Information \-Why join our team?** We are a company committed to making our beliefs and values truly come alive.
