MACHINERY OPERATOR (FORKLIFT)

Description

Job Summary: Operates cargo-handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes, while also assisting in warehouse organization and maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Operating forklifts and pallet jacks to handle cargo. 2. Assisting with preventive maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse. 3. Directing drivers and securing cargo. Job Responsibilities: Operates forklifts to handle cargo, transporting materials between internal and external warehouse locations. Also operates manual and electric pallet jacks in material areas, supporting the preventive maintenance plan. Performs packaging and unpacking of cargo, secures cargo on trucks, and instructs drivers regarding access points and entry/exit procedures. When primary equipment (forklift and/or pallet jack) is under maintenance, operates overhead cranes to ensure continuity of operations. Assists in warehouse cleaning through manual sweeping and use of a ride-on floor washer. **Requirements:** Driver's License Category D Working Hours: Rotating 5x2 schedule, from 07:30 to 16:48 Compensation and Benefits: The offered salary is R$ 2.463,29, with benefits including chartered transportation, on-site meals, health insurance, and a performance-based meal allowance.
