Job Description As an **Occupational Safety Supervisor**, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting Occupational Safety Technicians, providing technical responses to questions and queries, and supporting safety projects to ensure implementation of all Anglo American SSO procedures. **Key responsibilities include:** * Participate in meetings and committees with various managers to present statistical indicators, align procedures, and support decision-making; * Support leaders in their respective areas of operation. * Conduct weekly meetings with the Occupational Safety Technician team to align planning information for routine activities and adherence to execution, ensuring implementation as planned; * Participate in incident investigation and analysis, supporting managers in methodologies for identifying root causes and contributing factors, proposing recommendations to prevent recurrence; * Develop and implement SSO inspection programs based on risk management, establishing verification schedules for adherence to critical controls that could lead to incidents, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements related to Occupational Safety and Health; * Supervise and support Occupational Safety Technicians, providing technical guidance to ensure daily field execution aligns with strategic planning; * Participate in internal and/or external audits, responding to and presenting evidence related to legal requirements, and accompanying field audits to assess adequacy of facilities and equipment; * Support risk and change management projects by assessing risks, defining processes, and proposing controls to mitigate and minimize risks associated with human exposure at each process stage; * Plan and execute safety awareness campaigns for internal and/or external audiences, promoting reflection and conceptual changes toward safety; * Support inspections across all areas according to established guidelines, focusing on people, facilities, and equipment; * Participate in the implementation of corporate SSO projects, monitoring and ensuring their completion in accordance with Anglo American standards; * Comply with Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental, Social Responsibility, and Business Integrity policies and procedures. Qualifications **The profile we seek for this position:** * Completed undergraduate degree. * Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Safety Engineering preferred.
