Job Description \-You will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the Occupational Health and Safety team’s activities, providing technical responses to questions and queries, as well as supporting health and safety projects, ensuring implementation of all Anglo American’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures. **Key responsibilities include:** * Developing and approving Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures through risk mapping of activities to develop standard procedures for critical OHS routines, aligned with Anglo American’s Global Health and Safety Programs; * Participating in meetings and committees with various managers to present statistical indicators and align procedures, as well as supporting decision-making with data; * Managing contracted companies, participating in technical specifications analysis based on OHS requirements, equipment and personnel mobilization, developing contractors’ capacity to comply with the OHS contractual annex, evaluating contractor performance, monitoring contractor demobilization, ensuring compliance with regulations and aligning Anglo American’s OHS procedures; * Monitoring contracts with regard to companies contracted by the OHS department, overseeing activities to ensure execution in accordance with contractual clauses; * Supervising Occupational Health and Safety Technicians’ activities, providing technical support and guidance. Conducting weekly meetings with the Technicians’ team to align planning information for routine activities and adherence to their execution, aiming to ensure implementation as planned; * Planning and executing safety campaigns, including improvement and risk reduction projects, recognition events, among others, in line with the company’s strategy; * Participating in incident investigation and analysis, supporting managers in applying the methodology for identifying causes and contributing factors to incidents, proposing recommendations to prevent recurrence; * Conducting inspections and audits of OHS programs, based on risk management, monitoring adherence to critical control plans that could cause incidents, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements related to Occupational Health and Safety; **Qualifications \-The profile we are seeking for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree. * Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Safety Engineering (preferred). * Intermediate Office suite proficiency. * Valid Brazilian driver’s license (category B). **Additional Information \-Why join our team?** We are a company committed to turning our beliefs and values into reality.
