Job Description You will be responsible for operating equipment and facilities in the processing plant area, such as: stackers, hoppers, silos, scales, screens, thickeners, slurry and water pumps, slurry agitator tanks, belt conveyors, hydraulic valve actuation systems, water treatment plants, and other similar equipment—on-site, remotely, or automatically. **Key responsibilities include:** * Operating processing plant equipment (screens, thickeners, filters, slurry and water pumps, slurry agitator tanks, belt conveyors, hydraulic valve actuation systems, stackers, hoppers, silos, scales, mills, and other similar equipment) on-site, remotely, or automatically, in accordance with established procedures; * Conducting on-site inspections of processing plant areas—including thickening, flotation, grinding, magnetic concentration, and homogenization tanks—to verify and identify operational triggers related to process variables, performing necessary repairs or reporting them to your immediate supervisor; * Monitoring tank levels and communicating any deviations identified via radio to the control room; * Inspecting belt conveyors to identify potential defects and notifying the maintenance team to perform required repairs; * Operating control panels, communication systems, and control centers, monitoring the entire process and issuing commands for necessary interventions. Qualifications **The profile we seek for this position:** * Completed high school education plus a vocational training course. * Minimum of two years’ experience in the mining industry.
