Come be part of this community! **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Conducting studies, calculations, projects, and field visits to monitor and control activities related to hydrology and hydraulics (e.g., surface drainage, sediment containment, water and tailings management); * Monitoring the process of reservoir filling, management, and occupation by tailings dams, including planning of topobathymetric surveys; * Processing survey data; * Developing dashboards featuring key KPIs and preparing action plans for necessary adjustments; * Monitoring the embankment occupation process by sediments; * Including planning of topobathymetric surveys, processing of survey data, development of dashboards featuring key KPIs, and preparation of desilting plans; * Preparing a Rainy Season Preparedness Plan for the mine, including sizing of operational structures for sediment containment and peak rainfall flow attenuation (sumps), pumping systems, and operational channels. **For this position, we expect you to have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and/or Water Resources; * Knowledge or experience with ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems (EMS) is desirable.
