Job Description
\-You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and availability of critical structures (thickeners, belt conveyors, pipe racks, silos, chutes, industrial buildings, and auxiliary structures) in harsh and highly complex environments.
We seek a multidisciplinary profile combining expertise in advanced structural analysis, inspection management, maintenance experience, team leadership, and strong structural risk assessment capability, backed by practical field experience.
**Key responsibilities include:**
* Perform advanced structural calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) simulations to assess service life, criticality, and failure modes of steel and concrete structures.
* Identify and analyze risks associated with corrosion, fatigue, abrasion, overloads, and operational changes.
* Define structural inspection plans based on criticality, technical standards, and risk assessment.
* Interpret inspection reports, correlating field findings with engineering analyses.
* Translate inspection results into technical recommendations and maintenance action plans.
* Develop and validate reinforcement, replacement, or revitalization projects for critical in-service structures.
* Prepare technical specifications, calculation memos, and guidelines for integrity-related construction works.
* Monitor field execution, ensuring quality, safety, and technical compliance.
* Assess probability and consequences of structural failures to support intervention prioritization.
* Conduct risk analyses to inform corrective, preventive, and structural reinforcement maintenance decisions.
**Qualifications
\-The profile we seek for this position:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil)
* Active CREA registration / ART issuance for position and function
* Postgraduate qualification in project management and/or master’s degree (Preferred)
* Specialization in Structural Integrity (Preferred)
