




Job Summary: The Tax Assistant supports the company's tax routines, ensuring compliance with tax obligations and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with applicable legislation. Ensuring compliance with tax legislation The Tax Assistant is the professional responsible for supporting the company's tax routines, performing verification, entry, and calculation of tax documents, ensuring fulfillment of tax obligations and accurate recording of tax-related transactions. Works collaboratively with accounting and finance departments to ensure compliance with current legislation. **Main Responsibilities:** Enter and verify incoming and outgoing invoices in the system; Verify correct application of taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS, etc.); Assist in tax calculation and submission of ancillary obligations (SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, DCTF, GIA, etc.); Control tax documents and organize electronic and physical files; Support issuance and cancellation of electronic invoices (NF\-e); Maintain updated product and supplier master data with accurate tax information; Respond to tax inspections and audits by providing required documents and information; Support the accounting and finance departments with tax data and reports. **Requirements:** Completed high school education (technical or undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields preferred); Basic knowledge of tax legislation and tax routines; Familiarity with management systems (ERP) and Excel; Attention to detail and responsibility regarding deadlines. **Desirable Competencies:** Document organization and control; Logical reasoning and analytical ability; Strong communication skills and teamwork; Discretion and commitment to handling sensitive information. **Minimum Education Level:** High School (Secondary Education)
