**Job Description:** We are looking for a dynamic and organized Purchase Assistant to join our team at a recycling company. This professional will play a crucial role in procurement management, going beyond basic purchasing responsibilities, including obtaining quotations, securing detailed item descriptions, and managing purchase authorizations. The position requires the ability to work under pressure, handling urgent demands with precision and agility. **Responsibilities:** \- Receive purchase requests from various departments within the company, identifying detailed descriptions of required items. \- Obtain quotations from suppliers and negotiate to ensure the best cost\-benefit ratio for the company. \- Monitor purchase authorizations with department heads, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints. \- Manage delivery deadlines and ensure orders arrive on schedule, even during periods of high demand. \- Develop and maintain an updated database of suppliers and business partners. \- Control quantities, quality, and compliance of purchased products. \- Collaborate in implementing the procurement process. **Requirements:** \- Completed high school education or currently pursuing a degree in Administration, Logistics, or related fields. \- Prior experience in procurement, preferably within recycling or sustainability-focused companies. \- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond swiftly to urgent demands. \- Knowledge of negotiation techniques and supplier relationship management. \- Proficiency with ERP systems (experience with Sankhya is a plus). \- Strong communication, organizational, and rapid problem\-solving skills.
