Develop the menu, ensuring dish diversity, quality, and consistency. Supervise meat, side dish, and other buffet item preparation. Ensure correct doneness, cutting, and presentation of meats. Control food and supply inventory to prevent waste. Place purchase orders and monitor suppliers. Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations. Train and guide staff to maintain quality and productivity standards. Monitor costs and optimize kitchen processes. Ensure kitchen organization, cleanliness, and proper operation. Previous experience as Head Cook, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Executive Cook may indicate alignment with some responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
