Job Summary:
Perform mechanical maintenance services, assembling and disassembling machines and equipment to ensure optimal operation and extend service life.

Description:
Brief Description: Perform mechanical maintenance services, assembling and disassembling machines and equipment, repairing or replacing parts and components to ensure optimal operation and extend service life.
* Perform corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance in accordance with maintenance planning and scheduling;
* Execute work orders and complete requested information in the documentation;
* Evaluate equipment and their conditions;
* Inspect equipment;
* Request materials from inventory;
* Evaluate suppliers;
* Coordinate equipment shutdowns with PCP (Production Control and Planning);
* Develop equipment shutdown schedules;
* Evaluate and monitor third-party maintenance;
* Manage tools and consumables;
* Know and comply with standards, procedures, and work instructions defined by the Quality Management System (SGQ), as applicable to the area of operation, established by the company or current legislation;
* Perform other related activities as directed by the immediate supervisor or as required by the company.
Requirements:
* Completed Technical Course in Mechanics;
* Prior experience in this role—preferably in the steel industry—is considered an advantage.
