




Description: As a basic requirement, you must have: * Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field. * Minimum of 7 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment, with at least 3 years in capital project environments (construction, infrastructure, industrial, or energy sectors). * Solid knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant HSE regulations. * Experience conducting PHAs, HAZOPs, and other risk assessments. * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment. Summary Description: Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety guidelines by managing the alignment of practices with applicable standards and regulations, as well as providing advisory support to departments in project development to minimize risks to worker safety, supporting the company’s strategic objectives and growth. Detailed Description: * Monitor and audit safety documentation and safety training records of contracted companies. * Participate in Internal Accident Investigation Committees, convened occasionally upon specific request. * Develop Safety Plans for projects, including safety motivational campaigns. * Conduct critical safety evaluations of construction sites, including aspects such as safe pathways, access control, lockout installations in industrial plants, roads, and avenues. * Interact with safety technicians and engineers from companies to align on safety culture implementation. * Record, evaluate, and monitor site safety statistics, proposing corrective actions when necessary. * Generate routine or special safety reports for construction sites. * Record safety interventions and anomalies in computerized systems and manage them appropriately. * Participate in meetings with contractors, exchanging information and receiving managerial guidance. * Assist in implementing contractual rewards or penalties as stipulated in agreements with contracted companies. * Participate in managerial safety inspections on construction sites. * Collaborate with technical supervisors to ensure site safety during activities such as rigging plan development and use, design of standard and special scaffolding for load support, tool or equipment usage, construction sequencing, and managing activity interferences and associated risks for workers and others within their influence zone. * Support the analysis of variables and developments, as well as the implementation, maintenance, and execution of activities related to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to ISO 45001, following company guidelines. * Conduct hazard identification, assess safety risks and exposure levels, and manage actions within the hierarchy of controls, developing execution plans with defined priorities to promote a safe and healthy environment through continuous reduction of incidents and the company's safety risk factor. * Monitor established performance indicators and support departments in developing and implementing work procedures/instructions and tools to ensure safe task execution, mitigate/eliminate risks, and meet legal requirements and criteria. * Perform assigned tasks according to received plans, under the supervision and/or support of more technically experienced professionals or immediate managers, even if only for occasional guidance or problem resolution.
