




Job Summary: Customer service professional for a laboratory, responsible for patient registration, quotations, verification of service orders, and administrative support, ensuring excellence in service delivery. Requirements: * Experience in customer service within pathology laboratories (preferably) or clinical laboratories/imaging exams; * Completed high school education; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and computer skills for system usage; * Strong communication, organizational, and proactive skills; * Flexibility regarding working hours and ease of commuting within the municipality. Responsibilities: * Request personal identification documents with photo from customers (ID card, driver's license, or birth certificate for minors under 18), medical insurance card (including validity date and full name), physician's requisition form, and supplementary examination requests; * Register patients according to physician's instructions; * Clarify any doubts prior to registration/procedure execution; * Prepare examination quotations; * Verify service orders and private physician requisitions; verify simulated reports and generate comprehensive service order reports upon leadership request; * Monitor and forward (in person or via courier) service orders to the billing department for payment processing; * Maintain an organized workplace, keeping files and materials properly arranged; * Mentor, support, and train newly hired receptionists through internal monitoring training and perform administrative support tasks as directed by immediate supervisor; * Sort and archive daily attendance records numerically and store them daily according to designated archiving locations for each document type; * Perform pre-billing/service order verification using system-generated reports, verifying all aspects of service delivery—from customer, physician, and registered examination data to final report closure—prior to forwarding to the billing department for invoicing to insurance providers; * Respond to emails/WhatsApp messages; * Handle telephone inquiries; * Greet patients and visitors; * Provide service to both external and internal customers, acting as liaison with various units to ensure excellence in laboratory reception services; * Deliver excellent front-desk service by understanding and triaging each situation to guide patients, companions, and staff on required procedures and access identification; * Assume responsibility for billing in cases of private (non-insurance) services.
