Job Summary: The professional will prepare, rough-grind, and finish metal parts, ensuring quality and safety at all stages of the process. Key Highlights: 1. Proven experience in grinding and finishing metal parts. 2. Technical knowledge of abrasives and operation of grinders. 3. Focus on quality, attention to detail, and compliance with safety standards. ### **Responsibilities** * Prepare, rough-grind, and finish metal parts using grinders, surface grinders, and other rotary machines equipped with appropriate abrasive wheels and points. * Remove imperfections such as dirt, scale, welding slag, oxidation, and burrs. * Perform grinding and leveling of weld beads to ensure quality for inspection and aesthetic finishing. * Carry out cuts on metal parts according to technical specifications and work orders. * Prepare metal surfaces for painting or coating, ensuring proper adhesion and final finish. * Support production and maintenance activities as required by the department. * Conduct visual quality control of parts, identifying non-conformities. * Maintain, preserve, and organize tools, equipment, and the workplace. * Operate overhead cranes when necessary, following operational and safety procedures. * Strictly comply with quality, environmental, health, and occupational safety procedures. * Keep the workplace clean, organized, and safe. ### **Requirements** * Completed elementary education. * Proven experience in grinding, rough-grinding, and finishing metal parts. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Knowledge or certification in applicable safety regulations (NR\-34, NR\-12 or similar). ### **Skills** * Operation of angle grinders, straight grinders, and surface grinders. * Technical knowledge of abrasives, cutting wheels, and grinding wheels. * Ability to perform basic adjustments and calibrations on machines and tools. * Attention to detail and focus on the quality of part finishing. * Ability to identify and correct imperfections in metal parts. * Organization, responsibility, and commitment to safety standards. * Teamwork and effective communication with production and maintenance departments. ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Voucher, Cafeteria, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Transportation Voucher, Profit Sharing and Results Program ### **Department:** Manufacturing \- Headquarters
