Surface preparation for painting or coating **Responsibilities** --------------------- Responsible for preparing and finishing metal parts using rotary machines such as grinders and surface grinders equipped with appropriate abrasive discs and points to remove imperfections including dirt, scale, welding slag, and oxidation. Grinding of welds and burrs, leveling of weld beads for inspection and aesthetics, cutting of metal parts, and surface preparation for painting or coating to ensure adhesion and finish. Supports production and maintenance, performs visual quality control of parts, and ensures maintenance and organization of tools and the work area, guaranteeing compliance and safety at all stages. Maintains organization and cleanliness of the workplace. Uses overhead cranes when necessary and complies with quality, environmental, health, and occupational safety procedures. **Requirements** -------------- Responsible for preparing and finishing metal parts.
