Job Summary: Performs preventive, corrective maintenance and routine inspections on bus tires, ensuring passenger safety and comfort. Key Highlights: 1. Workplace organization and cleanliness **Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** 6 days on, 1 day off **Level:** Operational **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT Perform preventive, corrective maintenance and routine inspections on bus tires to extend tire life and ensure passenger safety and comfort. Follow operational procedures under your responsibility according to work instructions (PO). Replace rear and front tires by removing them from buses using specialized tools to perform tire rotation. Measure tread depth on tires using a "Tread Depth Gauge", performing tire rotation or replacing damaged tires as needed. Retread tires using a "Tire Grooving Machine" to extend their service life. Mount and dismount tires on wheels according to wear patterns to maximize tire life. Perform front tire camber and toe alignment using specialized equipment, adjusting the steering linkage if necessary to enhance vehicle maneuverability. Balance front wheels when installing new tires or upon driver request, using a wheel balancer. Visually inspect tires for irregular wear to detect anomalies. Record information regarding performed work type, tire brand, bus identification, tire position, and other relevant details in designated forms for subsequent tracking. Paint wheels when necessary, using a spray gun. Monthly check tire inflation pressure using a "Pressure Gauge" to monitor the work of the Tire Assistant. Maintain tool, equipment, and workplace conservation, cleanliness, and organization to comply with environmental preservation initiatives. Perform other tasks related to those described above, as directed by your supervisor. **Requirements:** Desired Education Level: Incomplete Elementary School.
