Responsible for handling cargo both at the company and at client sites, respecting packaging symbols and preserving the integrity of goods, while guaranteeing correct volume counts during pickup, delivery, loading, or unloading.
'\- Handle cargo both at the company and at client sites, respecting packaging symbols and preserving the integrity of goods;\- Ensure that the number of volumes picked up, delivered, loaded, or unloaded is accurately recorded and matches the fiscal document;\- Organize cargo according to its documentation, locations, and priorities; identify and organize non-conforming goods;\- Sort road freight transport waybills according to their proper identification or as requested;\- Support the company by transporting, sorting, and verifying goods in accordance with the operational area's Work Instructions;\- Collaborate as part of a team, performing other tasks whenever necessary; \- Provide objective and reliable information;\- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment.\- Comply with the Code of Ethics and Conduct, and strictly adhere to Compliance requirements, in full conformity with all applicable laws, regulatory standards, and internal policies; \- Commitment to meeting requirements of relevant quality and environmental certifications, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SASSMAQ.When working in Warehouses:\- Loading and unloading cargo; lashing and unlashing trucks.\- Collecting packaging materials or waste generated from workplace operations. \- Safeguarding client cargo, checking whether items are properly aligned within the batch, tops are covered, and there is no risk of tipping or damage.\- Performing rework to transfer damaged products into new packaging. \- After container discharge at piers or onto trucks, sweeping the facility and removing nails found on the floor, etc.\- Collecting discharge waste (wood, plastic, cardboard, straps, etc.) and placing it in designated areas per recycling guidelines.\- Keeping the warehouse and work area consistently clean, reporting completed cleaning tasks in the checklist or internal report. \- Occasionally performing floor or wall painting, using all required additional PPE for the activity. \- Performing tasks involving light manual tools or equipment that are in safe working condition (original and traceable materials). \- Adhering to all SSMA and Quality Guidelines.
