This position is part of the Simulation and Engineering Services team, operating in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment, with direct interface across various internal departments and customers. Responsibilities include participation in project, development, and proposal (BID) phases, contributing to the evaluation and validation of offshore products through simulation and modeling tools, in compliance with internal guidelines, technical standards, and specific customer requirements. The role involves supporting the construction and evolution of technical solutions by integrating analyses, experimental data, and project requirements, with emphasis on result reliability and delivery consistency. The specialist will also prepare technical documentation and support engineering discussions, facilitating alignment among involved departments and external stakeholders. The position offers exposure to advanced simulation activities, customer interaction, and continuous technical development within an environment conducive to learning and professional growth. An analytical, organized, and collaborative profile is expected, with interest in deepening technical expertise and practical involvement in solution development, contributing to improvements in engineering processes, tools, and methods. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform local, dynamic, and finite element numerical analyses throughout concept design, detailed engineering, and commercial proposal phases. * Propose, review, and validate analysis methodologies and technical solutions applicable to products and their respective accessories. * Prepare technical documentation and issue reports, participating in internal technical discussions and those with customers. * Serve as the technical liaison between various company departments and external customers. * Develop, enhance, and maintain engineering tools and approaches tailored to products and systems. * Compare and calibrate experimental results against predictions obtained from analytical or numerical models. * Collaborate in producing technical publications, papers, and participating in industry events. * Interpret and apply international standards and specific customer requirements in projects. * Contribute to the technical review of documents prepared by the team. * Lead or support the development of solutions for new products or technical adaptations. * Facilitate and lead technical discussions in Portuguese and English, both internally and with customers. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. * Advanced proficiency in English. * Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in the Oil & Gas sector. * Familiarity with Orcaflex and/or FEA software (ANSYS/Abaqus), with some simulation experience. **Desirable:** * A stricto sensu postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Mechanics or Computational Engineering will be considered a significant advantage. * Prior experience with analyses, simulations, and development of umbilicals. **Desired Profile:** * Highly technical and analytical; * Ability to work in a dynamic environment managing multiple projects and defined deadlines. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
