**Research Analyst Position**
We are looking for a Research Analyst to support research, innovation, and scientific development activities, contributing to the institution's academic excellence.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Provide support for administrative and strategic activities related to research, postgraduate studies, and innovation at the institution.
* Monitor institutional processes and obligations with CAPES, CNPq, FAPs, and other public and private funding agencies.
* Organize, consolidate, and monitor scientific production, research, and postgraduate education indicators.
* Prepare, update, and review reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and technical documents for accountability and institutional evaluations.
* Support faculty members, researchers, and students regarding calls for proposals, research projects, scholarships, and funding programs.
* Conduct administrative follow-up of research projects, ensuring compliance with institutional regulations and requirements set by funding agencies.
* Monitor regulatory deadlines, ensuring timely delivery according to institutional and external calendars.
* Maintain updated institutional databases related to scientific production, research groups, and projects.
* Support financial resource management linked to research projects, tracking documentation, accountability reporting, and resource utilization where applicable.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within the area, proposing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
* Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to strengthen institutional research, innovation, and development activities.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree completed in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Library Science, or related fields.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on intermediate/advanced Excel.
* Experience in data organization and analysis, report preparation, and indicator tracking.
**Desirable Requirements**
* Knowledge of regulatory processes in higher education and guidelines issued by CAPES, CNPq, and other funding agencies.
* Experience in higher education institutions, research organizations, or public bodies related to education and innovation.
* Practical experience in administrative management of research projects and accountability reporting.
* Familiarity with scientific production indicators and academic databases.
* Experience with academic systems and research management platforms.
* Intermediate English proficiency for reading technical documents and calls for proposals.
Compensation: R$3\.900,00 \- R$3\.905,00 per month
