Description:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, preferably;
* Knowledge of ADMS and SCADA systems;
* Experience in automation engineering activities;
* Knowledge of natural gas distribution will be an advantage.
* Lead complex automation projects from feasibility studies through implementation.
* Develop integrated automation architectures with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and security.
* Conduct diagnostics and propose strategic solutions for systemic failures or operational bottlenecks.
* Supervise technical teams and field vendors to ensure quality and adherence to deadlines.
* Serve as an internal consultant on emerging technologies (IIoT, Industry 4\.0, machine learning applied to automation).
* Represent the automation area in meetings with business units, vendors, and internal customers.
* Analyze the performance quality of ADMS and SCADA systems, anticipate potential issues, and propose structural solutions.
* Guide automation architects and engineers in designing test systems according to customer requirements.
* Design test structures for certification of new products/solutions, and define and conduct code review processes.
* Continuously improve the test system design and tool development projects.
* Analyze various market solutions against criteria such as clarity, suitability, consistency, and future-readiness;
* Work in solution engineering and innovation management, supporting departments to ensure functional and non-functional requirements for new automation solutions;
* Lead the identification of risks associated with specific automation activities and develop test plans—including tasks, dependencies, and required participants—to mitigate risks to system quality and secure stakeholder support (both IT and business) for the plan;
* Estimate and obtain approval for time, resources, and budget required to execute automation activities.
* Evaluate solutions applicable to operational network security.
