Dr. Jayme Santos Neves State Hospital, a healthcare reference in Espírito Santo, is seeking a professional to work as a Refrigeration Mechanic Assistant. The professional will support the technical team in preventive and corrective maintenance of hospital air conditioning systems, ensuring thermal comfort and air quality in critical environments (ICUs, Operating Rooms, Machine Rooms, etc.). Responsibilities and Duties Assist the Refrigeration Mechanic in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioning equipment (Splits, Self-Contained units, Chillers, VRF systems, Fan Coil Units, Cooling Towers, etc.). Perform cleaning and sanitization of air conditioning unit components. Provide support in assembling and disassembling systems, piping installation, and thermal insulation. Assist in measuring and fabricating ducts and accessories for ventilation systems. Support verification of refrigerant gases, equipment pressure, and temperature. Fully comply with the PMOC (Preventive Maintenance, Operation, and Control Plan) and hospital safety and biosafety standards. Organize and maintain the workplace, tools, and materials clean and orderly. Requirements and Qualifications Mandatory: Completed High School education. Previous experience as an assistant or helper in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning field. Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and procedures. Availability to work on rotating shifts or flexible hours, as required by the hospital. Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:48 PM, Monday through Friday.
