TYPICAL JOB ACTIVITIES * Present the menu to the diner, consult them about their preferences, and make recommendations to assist them in selecting dishes. * Serve food and beverages, presenting them to the customer and placing them on plates and in glasses. * Collect empty trays, cutlery, and other containers, and send them for washing and drying. * Set dining tables by arranging plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins in order. * Portion meats, poultry, or fish and prepare salads and other dishes at the diner's table. * Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment.
