Support improvements in operational processes **Description and Responsibilities:** **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour and 12-minute lunch break **Level:** Supervision/Coordination **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT Responsible for coordinating operational activities including material sorting, machine-based production, and internal movement, ensuring appropriate flow between inventory, production, and shipping. Works closely with the operational team to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, safety compliance, and proper resource utilization, all aligned with company guidelines. * Coordinate material sorting, production, and internal movement routines; * Organize material storage and identification to optimize space and workflow; * Ensure accurate material sorting and release for production and shipping; * Monitor deadlines, productivity, quality, and operational performance; * Supervise inventory and support stocktaking efforts to maintain control and reduce losses; * Lead the operational team by assigning tasks according to demand; * Monitor absences and support vacation scheduling, days off, and staff reassignments; * Monitor usage of machinery and equipment, reporting maintenance needs; * Track operational KPIs (productivity, efficiency, rework, and waste); * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, hygiene, and environmental regulations; * Promote operational organization, cleanliness, and discipline; * Maintain coordination with production, shipping, and logistics departments; * Prepare operational records and reports; * Identify and support improvements in operational processes. **Requirements:** * Completed technical or undergraduate degree; * Solid experience in this role and within the steel industry; * Proven experience leading operational teams; * Knowledge of inventory control, material sorting, and material handling. **Benefits:** Medical assistance, Dental assistance, Parking, Profit-sharing program, On-site meals, Life insurance, Meal allowance, Transportation allowance
