As a Cargo Terminal Supervisor, you will be a key player in ensuring everything flows safely, efficiently, and with quality. You will work at a strategic terminal within a solid logistics company, focused on continuous improvement and customer experience. Your role is to coordinate people, processes, and resources so that each shipment reaches the correct destination, on time. * Supervise receiving, verification, storage, and dispatch operations. * Assign tasks and monitor the performance of the operational team. * Ensure adherence to deadlines, goals, and KPIs. * Guarantee proper use of terminal equipment and resources. * Implement and monitor safety routines and loss prevention measures. * Address operational issues and customer service challenges. * Suggest process improvements and support optimization projects. Requirements: **Mandatory Requirements:** * Prior experience as a supervisor, team leader, or foreman at a cargo terminal, warehouse, or distribution center. * Knowledge of receiving, verification, storage, picking, and dispatch routines. * Experience managing shift-based operational teams. * Familiarity with operational metrics (e.g., productivity, service level, damage rates). * Availability to work rotating shifts/shift schedules, as required by operations. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with road freight transport companies, courier services, or integrated logistics providers. * Knowledge of WMS/TMS systems and operational control tools. * Technical or higher education degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields. * Prior involvement with occupational safety programs and 5S methodology.
