**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 18:00\.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in this role.
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
* Postgraduate degree in Business Management or Project Management, and/or related fields.
Responsible for managing the proposal and project departments, integrating activities across these areas and ensuring effective performance in accordance with FORTES's values and strategic objectives, aiming for excellence in interactions with clients, business units, and other departments, thereby contributing to the Company’s achievement of planned results.
§ Manage the proposal department, supporting the coordinator to ensure proposals are prepared within the agreed timeframe, meeting requirements for schedule, quality, cost, and competitiveness.
§ Manage the Project Department, supporting the coordinator on all matters inherent to the department, including controls and processes.
§ Define, together with coordinators, workflow and interaction between the proposal and project departments, as well as which proposals will or will not be prepared.
§ Guide and validate with the Project Coordinator the development (Continuous Improvement), procurement, and management of designers.
§ Review draft contracts, seeking specialized legal advice when necessary.
§ Support procurement activities by participating in technical negotiations with clients and discussions regarding contract terms.
§ Participate in negotiations with clients to implement amendments or corrections to active contracts.
§ Be responsible for client communications regarding registrations and contracts.
§ Coordinate pre-budget meetings whenever involving project engineering.
§ Monitor the company’s technical and legal documentation, keeping it up to date.
§ Prepare a monthly management report on contracts and performance outcomes under this manager’s responsibility.
§ Promote presentation meetings for new Business Units (UNs), involving the Executive Board, Administrative Department, UN Team (Manager, Supervisor, and Planning), and RD.
§ Inform all stakeholders about the commencement of new Company projects.
§ Maintain the FORTES Technical Archive updated at CREA.
§ Monitor interfaces between the project and proposal departments and the Business Units (UNs), supporting necessary actions.
§ Promote continuous improvement in the proposal and project departments.
§ Coordinate with contract managers to hold Business Unit (UN) closing meetings.
§ Comply with and enforce the Company’s policies, standards, and procedures within this area.
§ Execute and monitor the performance agreement for this manager’s department, and participate in and monitor performance agreements for departments under this manager’s responsibility.
§ Provide necessary resources enabling employees to identify and remain aware of occupational health and safety (OHS) hazards, risks, and environmental aspects and impacts associated with their activities, thereby ensuring control, protection, and elimination or reduction of potential harm to people and environmental impacts.
