ELECTROMECHANICAL ASSISTANT – JOB DESCRIPTION If you are eager to learn and grow in the field of industrial maintenance, this opportunity is for you! We seek a dynamic and proactive professional to support corrective and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment, assisting in electrical, mechanical, and automation tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled electro-electronic and mechanical maintenance on machines, equipment, road vehicles, and light vehicles of the Company, following schedules defined by supervisors or service requests, using hand tools and portable instruments (wrenches, pliers, torque wrenches, torque multipliers, measuring instruments, pumps, cylinders, oil/grease injectors, jacks, stands, and electrical tools). * Assist in disassembling equipment, inspecting or repairing faults, replacing tires, lubricating, substituting parts, refurbishing components, diagnosing and repairing air-conditioning systems, reassembling, testing completed work, and releasing equipment for use. Interpret electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings and schematics to guide fault location and correction. * Complete all required documentation and ensure order and cleanliness at the workplace, as well as for materials, tools, machines, and equipment used; request removal, replacement, or repair of parts and equipment via specialized technical assistance when necessary; observe safety procedures during work and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE); request procurement of materials to replenish inventory or support new tasks by issuing appropriate requisitions for supervisor approval. * Stay informed about market technological trends applicable to the role through reading specialized literature, manufacturer manuals, market research, and internet resources, aiming to continuously update knowledge in relevant areas. * Ensure adherence to ISO standards regarding quality, environment, safety, and occupational health, supporting certification compliance and maintenance. * Carry out other duties related to the position, as assigned by the supervisor.
