Job Summary: The Financial Assistant will provide support for the financial needs of all group companies, assist customers and suppliers, and maintain an organized routine of payments and collections. Assistance to customers and suppliers with financial inquiries Description: About Us Marca Ambiental operates in partnership with various companies within its Eco-Industrial Park to deliver comprehensive waste solutions and recycling services for diverse waste streams: organic waste, construction debris, tires, post-consumer cooking oil, plastic, glass, as well as biogas-based energy generation. Within Marca Ambiental’s Eco-Industrial Park, a wide variety of waste materials gain new life and, once valorized, re-enter the production chain through circular means. FINANCIAL ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION The Financial Assistant is responsible for supporting the Finance Department’s operational demands across all group companies. This includes assisting customers and suppliers with financial questions and issuing payment confirmations. The role aims to ensure that all payments and collections are accurately recorded in the system. Daily payment remittances and issuance of bank bills are also part of the responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Execute payment entries and generate payment remittances in the banking system. * Generate billing slips (bank bills) for customers. * Record financial documents in the system—including fees, advance payments, reimbursements, and taxes—accurately assigning them to the correct cost center and deadline. * Process payment and collection settlements. * Archive payment confirmations. * Perform bank reconciliation to ensure daily system balances are accurate. * Support customers and suppliers by responding to inquiries regarding payments, collections, and other financial processes. * Assist the Financial Analyst and supervisor in daily tasks, providing support with reports, reconciliations, and other finance-related activities as required. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Currently pursuing or having completed a Technical or Undergraduate degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum of 6 months’ experience in the field is desirable.
