If you identify with our purpose, shall we together imagine a future and engineer it? **Responsibilities and duties** **Summary description:** Act to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety guidelines through managing the alignment of practices to meet standards and regulations related to their areas of responsibility, as well as providing advisory support to departments in project development, aiming to minimize risks to worker safety while meeting strategic objectives and company growth. **Detailed description:** * Monitor and audit safety documentation and safety training records of contracted companies. * Participate in Internal Accident Analysis Committees, convened occasionally and upon specific demand. * Develop Safety Plans for projects, including motivational workplace safety campaigns. * Conduct critical safety assessments of construction sites, including issues such as safe pathways, access isolation, installation of locks in industrial plants, roads, and avenues. * Interact with safety technicians and engineers from companies to align the application of safety culture. * Record, evaluate, and monitor construction site safety statistics, proposing countermeasures when appropriate. * Generate regular or special safety reports for construction sites. * Record safety observations and anomalies in computerized systems and handle them appropriately. * Participate in meetings with contractors, exchanging information and receiving managerial guidance. * Assist in applying contractual rewards or penalties as stipulated in contractual terms with contracted companies. * Participate in managerial safety inspections on construction sites. * Work jointly with technical inspection teams to ensure site safety in activities such as developing and using rigging plans, designing standard and special scaffolding for load support, use of tools or equipment, construction sequencing, and analyzing activity interferences with associated risks for workers and others within their sphere of influence. * Act in the analysis of variables and developments, implementation, maintenance, and execution of activities related to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to standard 45001, following company guidelines. * Map hazards, safety risks, and exposure levels, as well as manage actions within the hierarchy of controls, developing execution plans with defined priorities to promote a safe and healthy environment with continuous reduction of incidents and the company's safety risk factor. * Monitor established indicators and support departments in developing and implementing work procedures/instructions and tools to safely perform activities, mitigating/eliminating risks and meeting legal criteria and requirements. * Perform scheduled activities according to received plans for your role, with monitoring and/or support from professionals with greater technical expertise or immediate managers, even if only for occasional guidance or problem resolution. Does not demonstrate full proficiency in all processes, operations, or equipment within their area, nor full productivity levels. * Support more senior professionals in processes inherent to their area of operation, leveraging experience for self-development. * Participate in the implementation of work plans and departmental procedures, executing and monitoring necessary technical actions to achieve established goals and targets. **Requirements and qualifications** **Basic requirements you must have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field. * Minimum of 7 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), with at least 3 years in capital project environments (construction, infrastructure, industry, or energy sector). * Solid knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant HSE regulations. * Experience conducting PHAs, HAZOPs, and other risk assessments. * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment. **You stand out if you have:** * Professional certifications such as CSP, NEBOSH, or equivalents are desirable. **Additional information** **Job characteristics:** * Employment type: Regular office (On-site) * Work location: Serra/ES * Working hours: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM **Benefits included in the position:** * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Transportation * Meal allowance * Gympass partnership Educational institution discounts and partnerships * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas—and even more, in the ability to turn them into reality.
