We seek professionals with the following competencies: * Engagement/collaboration * Commitment * Communication * Future-oriented vision * Proactivity * Relationship building * Innovation/learning and development * Safe behavior **Responsibilities and Duties** **The challenges of this opportunity are:** Participation in the startup of a new rolling mill at the Simec Cariacica Group; Willingness to learn. * Execute corrective and preventive maintenance work orders; Assemble equipment using tools and overhead cranes; * Request materials required to carry out maintenance activities; * Practice the 5S methodology, keeping work areas organized and ensuring proper tool storage; * Perform maintenance activities on lubrication systems; * Ensure correct equipment lubrication via manual and centralized systems; * Conduct anomaly analysis; * Identify maintenance requirements and communicate them to the planning team; * Monitor expiration dates of mandatory safety training required for performing job duties, and request necessary updates; Update maintenance procedures in the SGI system; * Read and interpret technical drawings; * Prepare scope documents for contracting maintenance services; * Develop mechanical technicians’ technical knowledge; * Lead activities within one’s area of responsibility; * Monitor KPIs to ensure achievement of targets; * Accompany suppliers during technical visits (internal and external); * Ensure up-to-date technical drawings for equipment; * Manage spare parts inventory relevant to equipment under one’s responsibility; * Perform cutting operations using oxy-fuel torches, grinders, and welding using coated electrodes, TIG, and MIG/MAG; * Practice safety; Performs welding and oxy-cutting work. * **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering; * Experience as a Technician; * Knowledge of Technical Drawing; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. **Desirable:** * Experience in the steel industry. * Training in NR-35, NR-11, and NR-33. * Hydraulics and Pneumatics; Bearing Assembly; **Additional Information** * Meal Voucher * On-site meals * Unimed Health Plan – Nationwide coverage * Dental Plan * Profit Sharing and Results Program (PLR) * Chartered Transportation and/or Transportation Allowance * Medication Program * Supplementary Pension Plan * Vacation Return Bonus * School Kit for employees’ children aged 03 to 18 years * Daycare Assistance for female employees with children up to 3 years old * Christmas Basket * In-house Banking Services * Partnership with AERT Club (Recreational Association of Tubarão) * Welhub * Life Insurance **Learn More About Us** Founded in Guadalajara (Mexico) in 1969, the Simec Group began operations producing steel bars, profiles, and rebars.
