Responsibilities and Duties Develop and review engineering projects (drawings, technical memoranda, material lists, flowcharts, and diagrams), performing calculations and sizing in accordance with applicable technical standards; Consolidate and validate technical assumptions for projects and construction works (capacity, service life, materials, construction methods), ensuring alignment with operational and regulatory requirements; Support budgeting for construction and installation works, structuring cost compositions, quantities, indirect costs, and BDI (Brazilian Profit and Indirect Costs Index), with full traceability of assumptions and sources; Prepare and maintain technical documentation (work instructions, manuals, descriptive and calculation memoranda), promoting standardization and controlled versioning; Conduct technical-economic analyses of engineering alternatives (materials, technologies, suppliers), including comparative assessments and objective recommendations; Participate in tenders and technical proposals, reviewing tender documents/annexes, preparing technical queries, RFI/RFQ documents, and contributing to schedules and scopes; Monitor CAPEX project execution, verifying technical compliance with design assumptions, recording evidence (as-built records, photos, daily logs), and issuing observations; Control deadlines and deliverables from third parties (consultancies, designers, laboratories), monitoring schedules, technical quality, and contractual compliance; Lead technical and operational risk analyses, identify root causes, propose mitigation actions, and track the effectiveness of action plans; Prepare technical and executive reports (status, progress, compliance, risks, lessons learned), ensuring clarity, objectivity, and traceability; Interact with multidisciplinary areas (Construction, Operations, Procurement, Legal, SMS), consolidating information and supporting timely decision-making; Conduct field surveys and technical site visits to collect data for projects, validations, measurements, and engineering adjustments; Verify compliance with industry standards, legislation, and regulatory requirements, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions when necessary; Support project handover to operations, contributing to commissioning, manuals, training, and handover documentation; Update as-built records and technical dossiers upon completion of milestones/projects, ensuring integrity and archiving in an appropriate repository; Monitor technical performance indicators (deadlines, quality, rework, scope adherence), triggering preventive and corrective actions where applicable; Suggest process improvements and standardization initiatives (templates, checklists, detail libraries, material catalogs) to enhance efficiency and quality; Support feasibility studies with reliable technical inputs and scenario projections; Ensure data integrity in spreadsheets, databases, and systems, maintaining version control and audit trails. Requirements and Qualifications **Education:** Bachelor’s degree. **Fields of Study:** Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines.* ️⃣ Experience in infrastructure projects and construction, applied engineering, or technical development; * ️⃣ Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, technical memoranda, layouts, and flowcharts; * ️⃣ Knowledge of modeling, calculations, and CAD tools (AutoCAD or equivalent/superior); * ️⃣ Ability to perform technical, budgetary, and feasibility analyses, and to produce structured technical documentation; * ️⃣ Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams; * ️⃣ Familiarity with applicable technical standards, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks; * ️⃣ Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI) or data modeling; * ️⃣ Intermediate/advanced Excel skills for consolidating technical and budgetary databases.
