Description

Job Summary: Develop civil engineering projects across conceptual, basic, and detailed design phases, including industrial civil works, foundations, and structures, preparing drawings and reviewing technical documents. Collaborate with engineers and designers in a multidisciplinary team Description: Basic requirements: * Completed technical education in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fields. * Experience as a civil designer in industrial, infrastructure, or technical building projects. * Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, foundation, and other related discipline drawings. * Knowledge of formwork drawing preparation, reinforcement detailing, sections, construction details, and quantity take-offs. * Experience reviewing technical documents. Preferred qualifications: * Additional courses in: Reinforced Concrete Design Reading and Interpretation, Foundation and Structural Detailing, BIM Modeling with Revit and Civil 3D, and Project Coordination and Clash Detection. * Solid knowledge of applicable technical standards, especially: NBR 6118 Concrete Structure Design, NBR 6122 Foundation Design, NBR 6492 Graphic Representation of Projects, NBR 7187 Bridges and Concrete Structures. * Proficiency in technical drawing tools, such as: AutoCAD 2D (mandatory), Revit (desirable for civil element BIM modeling), Civil 3D (desirable for surveying, drainage, and platforms), Navisworks (for model review and coordination). * Experience in mining, steelmaking, logistics infrastructure, industrial plants, or specialized civil works. * Familiarity with collaborative BIM platforms, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360\. * Ability to conduct field surveys and implement practical solutions at construction interfaces. * Basic knowledge of steel structures and their integration with foundations and concrete elements. * Proven experience in industrial or infrastructure civil projects, particularly in industrial plants, heavy construction, or technical buildings. * Extensive experience in formwork and reinforcement detailing, foundations, drainage, retaining structures, and concrete structures. * Ability to read and interpret multidisciplinary drawings. * Demonstrated experience in BIM modeling applied to civil discipline, field surveying, and preparation of drawings compliant with technical standards. Summary Description: * Develop civil engineering projects across conceptual, basic, and detailed design phases, including industrial civil works, foundations, reinforced concrete structures, retaining structures, drainage, and paving. * Prepare location drawings, formwork and reinforcement drawings, sections, construction details, graphical specifications, and material lists (quantity take-offs) in accordance with technical standards and project guidelines. * Interpret information provided by civil and structural engineers, integrating it into the overall technical scope of the project. * Review technical documents within the discipline. Detailed Description: * Model civil elements in CAD and BIM platforms, paying attention to interfaces with steel structures, equipment, piping, and related disciplines. * Perform drawing revisions and updates according to field modifications and adjustments. * Support interdisciplinary coordination and interference analysis using appropriate tools. * Maintain revision control and document organization per internal procedures and client standards. * Conduct field surveys when necessary to verify actual site conditions and collect technical data. * Collaborate with engineers and other designers in the multidisciplinary team. 2512060202191849859
