Job Summary: The Facility Maintenance Assistant performs general and multifunctional tasks to ensure the preservation, proper operation, and integrity of buildings, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and minor corrective repairs. Inventory control and workplace organization The Facility Maintenance Assistant is a support professional responsible for performing general and multifunctional tasks that ensure the preservation, proper operation, and integrity of a building, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and minor corrective repairs. Key responsibilities include: * ● Replacing light bulbs, ballasts, circuit breakers, and simple outlets. * ● Installing or repairing lighting fixtures and lighting equipment. * ● Checking the operation of electrical and lighting installations, reporting complex faults. * ● Unclogging drains, sinks, and toilets. * ● Repairing leaks in faucets, valves, water tanks, and simple piping. * ● Maintaining filters and water tanks. * ● Performing touch-up painting on walls and other surfaces. * ● Repairing cracks, fissures, and holes in walls and floors. * ● Replacing or reattaching loose or damaged tiles, mosaics, and flooring. * ● Adjusting and repairing doors, windows, and partitions. * ● Assisting in assembling furniture and machinery, and relocating equipment. * ● Conducting periodic inspections of installations to identify and report faults and issues (e.g., air conditioning, elevators, pumps, generators). * ● Monitoring and assisting third-party service providers during more complex maintenance activities. * ● Isolating areas for maintenance and cleaning, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations (NRs). * ● Keeping tools, equipment, and the workplace clean and organized. * ● Managing inventory of maintenance materials (parts, components, paints, tools) and requesting purchases or replenishment. * ● Completing service orders and recording performed activities and repairs.
