Join our team and help\-us build an even more promising future for the railway industry! **Job Description** * Carefully inspect the section immediately following grinding while positioned at the rear of the machine and be prepared to take any necessary action. * Report any equipment anomalies to the operations supervisor. * Directly combat heat concentration points or potential fire sources using the available resource: a directed water jet. * Perform emergency corrective maintenance and support preventive maintenance tasks, provided you have been trained for such duties and they are compatible with your role; also clean the machine whenever possible to maintain optimal cleanliness and hygiene. * Replace grinding stones whenever required, in accordance with engineering recommendations regarding stone utilization rates. * Comply with all company safety regulations by properly using personal protective equipment. * Record operational routine control items by providing relevant information. * Notify machine operation personnel immediately upon identifying any risk that cannot be mitigated using the water jet. * Use hand tools for minor interventions, provided you are authorized to do so. * Be responsible for your own safety and that of your coworkers, identifying and reporting all risks encountered during work activities. * Ensure efficiency and reliability of performed services. **Qualifications** **Education:** Completed high school **Additional Information** Work schedule: 17 days on / 13 days off **Equal Opportunity Employer:** Loram is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and respectful workplace.
