Job Summary: We are seeking a Planning Engineer to strategically engage across all project phases (pre-construction, construction, and post-construction), ensuring efficiency and objective attainment. Focus on mapping, measuring, and modifying to achieve objectives We are looking for a Planning Engineer to operate both strategically and operationally across our projects, overseeing all phases: pre-construction, construction, and post-construction. Job Mission Ensure efficient execution of planning and supply chain activities by monitoring projects through the Map-Measure-Modify cycle, guaranteeing achievement of established objectives. ️ Key Responsibilities * \-\> Pre-construction: Technical site visits for scope definition Quantity take-offs for budgeting Quotation of strategic materials and services * \-\> Construction: Field activity monitoring and supervision Schedule control and deviation identification Supply chain management and supplier negotiations Preparation and control of Competitive Bidding Charts (QC’s) Cost monitoring (forecast vs. actual) Service measurement and quality control Inventory management and support to third-party teams Physical progress and photographic reports Contract review and supplier updates Post-construction: Warranty claim evaluation Quantity surveying and execution Quotation of materials and services for maintenance Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Experience as a Planning Engineer and/or Supply Chain Engineer Experience in industrial or logistics projects is a plus Expected Competencies Logical reasoning Leadership Organization and attention to detail Proactivity and ownership mindset Market awareness Preferred Qualifications Project Management AutoCAD Advanced Excel Knowledge of Brazilian Technical Standards (NBRs) and Regulatory Norms (NRs) Leadership training courses Job Details Employment Type: Independent Contractor (PJ) Location: Rua Tocantins, s/n – Jardim Gramacho – Duque de Caxias/RJ Working Hours: 44 hours/week (with possible overtime) Compensation: To be negotiated (please indicate salary expectations) Interested candidates should send resumes via email with subject line "PLANNING ENGINEERING - RIO DE JANEIRO".
